'Colour or Black and White?' asks the shopkeeper (Denis Shaw). However, both 'Maps of Your Village' show only the village, the sea, the woods and the mountains. There's no call for a larger area!

Two citizens greet the prisoner (Patrick McGoohan). Suddenly a man begins to run around in no direction, Number 2 (Colin Gordon) orders him to 'be still' but the man persists, until the appearance of the white membrane mass of the village guardian, which attacks the man, knocking him down to the ground and suffocating him.
